I needed something to spruce up my door and make my house look more inviting. So I went the crazy route and MADE A WREATH! It was surprisingly easy, and it didn't take long. A definite plus for crafts with kids.
I will admit that I went out and bought some things for this project. But... It wasn't very expensive to do!
You will need:
Wreath foam (they come in different sizes and shapes, also in metal cage form)
Yarn of your choice (I prefer the thin stuff, not the soft kind.)
Ornaments or scrap material for flowers.
What to Do
Grab your yarn and tie it around the foam... Then start wrapping it around. Keep going until it is covered.
Decorate it. Show it off to all your fans ;)
How to Make Roses
Grab yourself some scraps of fabric.

How to Make Roses
Grab yourself some scraps of fabric.
Cut it in long strips, I used approximately an inch wide and 45 inches long. The rose will go bigger or smaller depending on the width and length of your fabric.
Tie a knot in the one end and start twisting the fabric around the knot, gluing as you go.
Once you are done you can attach it with a hot glue gun to your wreath! You can use these on hairbands or clips as well, I even put one on a dress :D
